...the boys in the announcing booth are saying that the forthcoming run between Hillary and Amanda will be the first woman v. woman match-up in Australian history for the Top Fuel class. Good stuff! I had a chance to chat with Miss Amanda a little bit earlier and she seems like a very nice young lady. They do qualifying here quite differently than in NHRA. Here, you pretty much get to pick who you want to run and when you want to run. Amanda came over to our pits and asked if it would be okay yo run against Hillary in the last pair...way cool!
It's 7:09 p.m. here and Hillary and Amanda are next after Phil Read makes a solo.
